"There is nothing one man or one woman can do against the enormous array of the world's ills — against misery, against ignorance, or injustice and violence... Yet many of the world's great movements, of thought and action, have flowed from the work of a single man."
— Robert F. Kennedy · Day of Affirmation · Cape Town · June 6, 1966
"There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution."
— John Adams · Second President of the United States
"However political parties may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people."
— George Washington · Farewell Address · 1796
"Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it." / "Be bold and mighty forces will come to your aid."
— Goethe / Basil King · The spirit of this candidacy
"The task of leadership, the first task of concerned people, is not to condemn or castigate or deplore — it is to search out the reason for disillusionment and alienation, the rationale of protest and dissent — perhaps, indeed, to learn from it."
— Robert F. Kennedy · 1966
"Ignorance leads men into a party, and shame keeps them from getting out again."
— Benjamin Franklin · Poor Richard's Almanack
"If I could not go to heaven but with a party, I would not go there at all."
— Thomas Jefferson
"A small number of persons, selected by their fellow-citizens from the general mass, will be most likely to possess the information and discernment requisite to such complicated investigations... The choice of several, to form an intermediate body of electors, will be much less apt to convulse the community with any extraordinary or violent movements than the choice of one who was himself to be the final object of the public wishes."
— Alexander Hamilton · Federalist Papers · On why representation matters

Arizona CD-1 — The Race for House Control

AZ-1 is one of 3–5 seats that will determine which party controls the U.S. House of Representatives in 2027. Every national political reporter covering House control is watching this district. Gage Dylan Thunder is the 4th and ONLY genuinely independent voice — the only candidate who has never belonged to a party, accepted no money from any donor or PAC, and is funding this campaign by donating blood plasma.

"Both of my opponents came with party machines. One came with $2.5 million from the Republican National Congressional Committee and a presidential endorsement. The other came with $1.8 million from national Democratic networks — even after his own party spent money trying to beat him in the primary. I came with a write-in form, a blood plasma card, and thirty years of doing the work without anyone's permission."

"My Republican opponent is a celebrity athlete turned broadcaster who traded his credential for a party endorsement. My background includes music, TV, film, healthcare, military service, and tech entrepreneurship. The difference is what we did with it."

★ GAGE DYLAN THUNDER — The Only Genuine Independent in This Race
The ONLY candidate in Arizona CD-1 who has never belonged to a party, accepted zero PAC or donor money, holds no brokerage account, and is funding this campaign entirely through blood plasma donations. 32 first-round Grammy nominations. Army 91B medic enlistment. Constituent App. The only truly independent mixed-race white Native American Reform candidate in a mixed-race marriage in this race.
"I do not adopt any party's platform as my own. I will not caucus with any party in Congress. I will not accept a single dollar from any party committee or political action committee." — Gage Dylan Thunder ⚡
Raised: $0 from any donor, PAC, or party. Funded by blood plasma donations — which are in genuine national shortage.
Republican
Jay Feely
Former Arizona Cardinals NFL kicker and CBS Sports broadcaster. Trump-endorsed, NRCC-backed. First-time candidate. No governing record. Celebrity name recognition built outside the political process, traded for a party machine's backing. Raised ~$2.53M.
Vulnerability: Traded entertainment credential for party endorsement — the exact opposite of what GDT did with the same starting point.
Democrat
Amish Shah
ER physician and former state legislator. Lost to Schweikert 52–48% in 2024. Won 2026 primary despite DCCC spending against him to back a different candidate — his own party tried to defeat him. Raised ~$1.83M.
Vulnerability: Repeat nominee who already lost this race. Healthcare credential is administrative, not laborer-side as GDT's documented healthcare service is.
Libertarian · Minor Party
Monica Alponte
Libertarian nominee on the printed ballot. GDT is the 4th voice as a declared write-in.

Producerist Capitalism
Stop foreign ownership of American infrastructure, natural resources, and strategic assets. Protect domestic working-class families and small businesses. End the privatize-gains / socialize-losses banking arrangement. Support rural Arizona economy — Flagstaff, Prescott, Route 66 businesses, tribal enterprises.

Healthcare · Access & Reform
Rural communities in Arizona drive hours for a hospital. Veterans wait months for VA appointments. End pharmaceutical pricing asymmetry. Rural broadband and mobile clinics. Telehealth access. Loan forgiveness for rural/tribal healthcare providers. I have worked as a phlebotomist, pharmacy tech, and Army 91B medic — I know both sides of the hospital door.

🏅 Independence · Cultural humility · 30-year documented record
Turned down fame, fortune, major labels, party affiliations — for 30 years
Repeatedly offered record deals, management contracts, agent agreements, publicist deals. Turned down or refused most to remain independent. Offered playlisting on Native American radio — graciously declined. Offered IPoD and ASP ballot nominations in 2026 — declined both. Now turning down all party affiliations. This consistent three-decade pattern of refusing to be bought is the most powerful proof of character available. The same independence offered in music is now offered in service.
This is not a campaign promise. It is a documented, verifiable, 30-year record of integrity that no opposition researcher can undermine — because it is real.

Introduction Speech — All Districts
Universal · Opening · Every appearance
My name is Gage Dylan Thunder. And I am running for Congress as an independent — because that is the only honest thing I can be. I am not a Democrat. I am not a Republican. I am not a protest candidate. I am a candidate who believes the people of this district deserve someone in Washington who actually works for them — not for the donors who funded their campaign. Here is my promise to you. I will build a constituent app — before I vote on any bill, you will see it. You will tell me how you want me to vote. That is real representation. That is what I am here to do. I have spent thirty years in real life — in uniform, in ministry, in music, in mission work. I know what it is to struggle. I know what it is to pray. And I know what it means when the person you sent to Washington forgets you exist. I will not forget you. Because I answer to you, and I answer to God. And neither of them will let me. My name is Gage Dylan Thunder. And I am asking for your vote.
AZ-1 — Introduction & Vision
Arizona Congressional District 1 · Opening
My name is Gage Dylan Thunder, and I'm running for Arizona's 1st Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives — as an independent write-in candidate. This district holds one of the largest independent voter bases in the West. I am not part of either party. I take no PAC money. My music royalties go into escrow the day I take office. You can't buy me because I was never for sale. Here is my promise to every person in this district: I will build a constituent app — before I vote on any bill in Washington, you will see it. You will tell me how you want me to vote. That is what real representation looks like. I'm running as a write-in because I trust the people of this district — not the party bosses. A write-in vote is a vote that says: I choose my own representation. My name is Gage Dylan Thunder. I'm asking for your trust, your write-in vote, and your prayers.
Tribal Nations — Navajo Sovereignty & Water
Arizona · Navajo Nation · Indigenous Communities
Yá'át'ééh. I come with respect. The Navajo Nation is the largest tribal nation in America — and a foundational community in this state and this district. For too long, Washington has treated tribal nations as an afterthought. Treaties signed and broken. Sovereignty acknowledged in law and violated in practice. Water rights ignored for a century while communities drove miles for a clean glass of water. That ends with me. Tribal sovereignty is not a favor. It is a constitutional and moral obligation. I will vote to honor every treaty. I will fight for full funding for tribal healthcare, education, and infrastructure at the same priority as any other government obligation. And I will include Diné, Hopi, and Apache leadership in every decision that affects their land, their water, and their people. Water is life in the desert. I will fight for tribal water rights — the rights that were signed away in treaties and never honored. Rural Arizona's water future depends on honoring those promises. I take no PAC money. I answer to no party. I will partner with the tribal nations of Arizona — not over them. My name is Gage Dylan Thunder. I will stand by you. Every time.
AZ-1 — Rural Arizona Economy & Corporate Accountability
Arizona · Economy · Working Families
Let me tell you what I see when I look at Arizona's 1st District. I see rural communities driving hours for a hospital. I see veterans waiting months for a VA appointment. I see small businesses competing against corporations that write their own rules. I see communities with hospitals hours apart and water infrastructure that should have been built a generation ago. Arizona's economy is not the stock market. It's the small business on Route 66, the tribal enterprise, the family ranch, the veteran who came home and found no support. Here is what I will fight for: rural broadband so every community can participate in the modern economy. Healthcare that doesn't require a two-hour drive. Small business support that actually reaches small businesses. And water infrastructure that honors tribal rights and secures Arizona's future. I take no PAC money. My royalty income goes into escrow. I will build a constituent app so every voter in this district can see every vote before I cast it. Arizona's 1st doesn't need another representative who works for the donor class. You deserve better. And you can have it. My name is Gage Dylan Thunder.
Healthcare — A Right, Not a Privilege
Universal · All Districts
I want to talk about what happens in this country when you get sick and you don't have enough money. You wait. You ration your medication. You choose between your prescription and your rent. You go to the emergency room for something that should have been caught three years ago at a routine checkup you couldn't afford. That is not the greatest nation on earth. That is a system that has failed the people it was built to serve. I am not going to promise you a perfect system. I am going to promise you this: I will vote for every measure that makes healthcare more accessible, more affordable, and less tied to your employment status. And I will vote against every measure that puts insurance company profits above patient outcomes. No PAC money means I owe no one. Not the pharmaceutical lobby. Not the insurance industry. No one. You deserve a representative who has actually sat in a waiting room and worried about the bill. I have. I have worked as a phlebotomist and pharmacy technician. I have served as an Army 91B medic enlistment. I have been in those rooms, doing that work, as a laborer. That is exactly why I am here.
Veterans — Sacred Obligation
Veterans · Military Families · All Districts
Let me tell you what I believe about the men and women who put on this nation's uniform. Every veteran who walked into a VA hospital and waited six months for an appointment — that is not a bureaucratic inconvenience. That is a broken promise. And I will not stand for it. Veterans' healthcare is not a line item to be debated. It is a sacred obligation. You kept your oath. Washington has not kept theirs. Here is what I will fight for: full mental health services — not a 90-day waiting list. Housing for every veteran who comes home without one. Transition support that actually helps you become something after service, not just a statistic. And here is what I will not do. I will not accept donations from defense contractors and then vote on defense bills. I will not sit on a veterans committee and miss meetings. I will not use a veteran in a photo op and then vote against their benefits. I have served. I know what you gave. And I am here to make sure Washington finally gives something back.
Faith & Representation
Faith · All Audiences
I want to be honest with you about who I am. My faith is not a campaign prop. It is not something I wear on Sunday and put away on Monday. It is the foundation of everything I do — including this campaign. I observe the biblical Sabbath — from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. I keep that day because Scripture instructs it and my conscience requires it. Congress votes Monday through Friday. My faith will not conflict with my duty. What my faith does do is tell me how to serve. It tells me to speak truth. To protect the vulnerable. To serve with humility. To refuse to be bought. If someone uses my faith against me in this campaign — if they mock it or twist it or try to make it a liability — they have just told you exactly what kind of public servant they would be. My faith is not weakness. It is the source of every ounce of courage that brought me here. And I will carry it with me to Washington and every room I walk into. Because I believe God put me here for this. And that is not something I take lightly.
Crime & Public Safety
Universal · All Districts
Safe communities are the foundation of everything we care about — good schools, thriving businesses, strong families, vibrant faith communities. I believe in fully funding law enforcement and holding it to the highest standard of accountability. Those two things are not opposites. They are both required if we want policing that the community trusts and that officers can be proud of. But I will not stand here and tell you that the solution to crime is simply more prison beds. We have tried that for fifty years. Violent crime still plagues our cities. Addiction tears through our rural communities. And we keep funding the same failed system. Here is what actually works: good jobs that pay living wages. Schools that graduate students who are ready for life. Mental health treatment accessible before someone ends up in crisis. And re-entry support so that people coming home from prison have a real chance to rebuild. I am for law and order. I am also for the conditions that make law and order possible. That is not a contradiction. That is leadership.
Rule of Law — No One Above It
Universal · Accountability
The rule of law is not a partisan slogan. It is the foundation of the American experiment. And right now that foundation is cracking — not because of any one party, but because both parties have decided that the law applies to their opponents but not to their allies. I reject that entirely. No one is above the law. Not politicians. Not corporations. Not donors. Not foreign governments. Not law enforcement. And not me. I will vote to hold power accountable regardless of party. I will never vote to shield anyone from lawful investigation or legal consequence because of political loyalty. And I will bring to Washington what is desperately missing: the understanding that trust in our institutions is not automatic — it is earned, every day, by the choices that leaders make. The law is not your enemy. Corruption of the law is your enemy. I will fight that corruption wherever I find it.
Prison Reform — Smart Justice
Universal · Criminal Justice Reform
America has the highest incarceration rate in the world. More people behind bars than any other nation on earth. And yet we do not have the lowest crime rate. What we have is a system that costs taxpayers $80 billion a year, produces recidivism rates above 60%, and has devastated entire communities. This is not justice. This is a machine. And it is time to dismantle the machine and replace it with something that actually works. I support ending mandatory minimums for nonviolent offenses. I support investing in rehabilitation — real job training, real education, real mental health treatment — inside our prisons. I support re-entry programs that give returning citizens an actual pathway back. And I support restoring voting rights for people who have served their time. These are not soft positions. They are the positions of someone who actually wants crime to go down, recidivism to end, and communities to heal. My faith compels me here: if we believe in redemption — truly believe in it — then our justice system must make room for it.

Artificial intelligence is not coming. It is here. Right now, AI systems are making decisions about who gets a job interview, who gets a loan, who gets parole, and what news you see. And there is almost no democratic oversight of any of it. Most members of Congress cannot explain how a large language model works. The companies building these systems are moving at the speed of light. And Washington is standing still. I believe in technology's power to transform lives for the better. I also believe that power without accountability is always dangerous. Here is what I will fight for: Transparency requirements — if an AI system is making consequential decisions about your life, you have a right to know. Human oversight — AI must not be allowed to make irreversible decisions without meaningful human review. Worker protection — the displacement of millions of workers by automation is a policy choice, and we can choose differently. Civil rights guardrails — AI trained on biased data produces biased outcomes. I do not want to stop innovation. I want to ensure that the benefits of AI are shared by everyone — not harvested by a handful of billionaires while the rest of us bear the costs.
Education Reform — Every Child, Real Opportunity
Universal · Education · Future
Education is the single greatest equalizer in American life. It is the promise we make to every child that where you start does not have to determine where you finish. We are breaking that promise in thousands of zip codes across this country. Every public school deserves fully qualified teachers, safe buildings, and the resources to actually educate. I support real, transparent school choice options that expand opportunity without defunding the public system that most children depend on. I believe in vocational and trade education as equal in dignity and value to a four-year degree. We need electricians, welders, nurses, coders, and farmers as much as we need lawyers. Our education system should honor every pathway to a productive life. And I will fight against the politicization of our classrooms — from any direction. Parents have a right to be involved. Children have a right to an education focused on truth, critical thinking, and preparation for real life. The child sitting in that classroom right now is the America of 2040. Let's give them a real shot.
Debate Response — Handling Character Attacks
Debate · Media · All Appearances
I want to address what just happened directly. My opponent has chosen to talk about me instead of talking about you. About your healthcare costs. About your children's schools. About your safety. About the future of this district. That is a choice. And it tells you something important. When a campaign cannot win on the issues — when the ideas are not there — the playbook is always the same: find something, anything, about the person instead of the policy. Take something real, add distortion, mix in fear, and hope the voters don't notice. I am not going to play that game. My life is an open book. Ask me anything — directly, face to face. I will answer you honestly. That is more than my opponent can offer about the donor list that funds this campaign. Now. Can we talk about what actually matters to the people in this room? Because I believe they came here for answers — not for theater.
30-Second Answer: Why Independent?
Quick answer · All media · All appearances
Because both parties have had decades to fix the problems that are still here. They haven't. I am not interested in being the 436th vote for a party agenda. I am interested in being your voice. An independent cannot be whipped into line. That is exactly the point. I answer to you and I answer to God. And I will never forget which comes first.
Official Statement & Media Clarification

Dear Public Servants, Media Professionals, and Community Leaders, I am reaching out to establish official communication and provide an important clarification regarding this campaign. All authorized press releases, legal positions, and official campaign statements are issued exclusively through GageDylanThunder@gmail.com and published at GageDylanThunder.com. Any communications not originating from these official channels do not represent this campaign. My candidacy is anchored in a deep commitment to grace, compassion, mercy, and civil unity. True public leadership requires standing up for constitutional integrity — not through anger or division, but through love, respect, and a genuine desire to serve all people regardless of party affiliation. What Sets This Campaign Apart: No PAC money. No party. No brokerage account. No dark money. A portion of congressional salary donated back to constituents. A Constituent App giving every voter documented input into every vote. Thirty years of verifiable, unbroken independence across music, business, and now public service. If newsrooms or official offices have received correspondence related to this candidacy that carried an abrasive or confrontational tone — that tone does not represent me or my campaign. I ask all media and public officials to direct any questions or correspondence directly to me at GageDylanThunder@gmail.com or (928) 707-7418. The Historic Case — Frazier Reams and What Is Possible
Historical Context · Independent Victory · The Long Game
The last time a fully unaffiliated independent with no prior public office was elected to Congress was 1950. His name was Frazier Reams, and he represented Ohio's 9th Congressional District from 1951 to 1953. Reams won 41% of the vote in 1950 and grew to 46% in his 1952 re-election — against both major parties — without social media, without a national platform, and in a political environment even more dominated by party machinery than today's. He won because Toledo voters trusted his personal integrity over party labels. That same dynamic is available in Arizona in 2026. I am not promising I will be the next Frazier Reams. I am promising this: if every voter in Arizona CD-1 who is tired of both parties writes in Gage Dylan Thunder on November 3rd — we will have made history together. The arc I am building does not end with this election. Arizona 2026 → IACOV and 7 Thunders in 2028 → long-term independent movement → 2032 → 2036 → 2040. November 3rd is Phase 1. Whatever result comes — the movement continues. 777.
To Gen Z Voters — The Constituent App Was Built for You
Gen Z · Young Voters · Digital Democracy · Direct Accountability
If you are between 18 and 28 and you are reading this: I am not going to tell you that voting fixes everything, because you already know it doesn't. What I will tell you is this — the Constituent App I am building means that if I serve in Congress, your voice is on record for every vote I cast. You don't have to trust me. You can verify me, in real time, for the entire length of my service. That is something no candidate in either party is offering you. It exists because I built it. And it will exist whether or not I win, because the principle behind it — that elected officials should be directly accountable to the people they represent — doesn't depend on any one election. Both parties have had decades to address the issues that define your generation: student debt, housing costs, algorithmic manipulation of your information environment, corporate consolidation, the crisis of institutional trust. The problems are still here. The parties are still fighting each other. The bills keep coming due — on you. An independent vote is not a wasted vote. It is a documented signal that you cannot be taken for granted. That is power. Use it intentionally.
To Independent and Unaffiliated Voters — You Are Why This Exists
Unaffiliated Voters · Independent · The Largest Bloc
You are a significant portion of the registered electorate in Arizona — and both parties spend the entire campaign season assuming you will eventually vote for one of them. I am the candidate who assumes nothing except this: you deserve a representative who answers only to you. Not to a party. Not to a donor. Not to a consultant. To you. That is what this campaign is built on. That is what it has always been built on. The Constituent App is built specifically for you: a mechanism that makes your voice a formal, documented, binding part of my legislative decision-making process. If the majority of constituents who participate in a vote through the app want one outcome, that is my default vote. I will publicly explain any departure. That is not a campaign promise. It is a structural commitment built into the platform. And it is designed for the independent voter who has been promised accountability before and never received it.
I Am Both Pro-Life and Pro-Choice — Here Is Why
Reproductive Policy · Conscience · Free Will · Faith Framework
Let me say something that will confuse both sides of this debate — and I mean that seriously. I am both pro-life and pro-choice. Depending on the individual, the circumstance, and the conscience involved. Because those circumstances are not mine to judge, and they are not the government's to dictate. I believe, as a matter of personal faith, that life is sacred. I will never hide that conviction. But I also believe, just as deeply, that God did not force Adam and Eve to remain in the garden. God did not strip Satan of the freedom to rebel. The Creator of the universe — the Author of every life — permitted His own creation the freedom to choose, and to bear the consequences of that choice, spiritual and earthly alike. If the Author of life extends that freedom — and He did, and He does — then I do not believe any government official, including me, has the standing to remove that freedom from another human being. Not on this question. Not on any question where conscience is genuinely at stake. This is not a dodge. It is a conviction rooted in Scripture, applied consistently. Former New York Governor Mario Cuomo argued in 1984 that a Catholic public official can hold a personal faith conviction about abortion without imposing it as law on citizens who don't share his faith. I agree with that core principle. Where I differ is that I extend it further — to war, to the death penalty, and to every place where the government asks a citizen to fund, through their taxes, an outcome their conscience cannot accept. No American should be forced to bankroll a war they believe is unjust. No American should be forced to fund capital punishment they find immoral. No American should be forced to fund a procedure that violates their deepest convictions — whatever direction that conviction runs. That is what conscience protection actually requires. And that is what the Constituent App makes structurally real: before I cast any vote on these contested questions, you tell me how you want me to vote. The majority of participating constituents sets the default. Your conscience directs my vote. My role is not to legislate my theology onto Arizona. My role is to protect every Arizonan's right to reach their own conclusion before God — and to answer for it themselves.

The Creator of the universe — the Author of every life — permitted His own creation the freedom to choose, and to bear the consequences of that choice, spiritual and earthly alike. If God Himself extends that freedom — if the Author of life does not compel obedience even from those He loves — then I do not believe any government official, including me, has the standing to remove that freedom from another human being. This is not a dodge. This is a conviction. No American should be forced to bankroll a war they believe is unjust. No American should be forced to fund a policy they believe is immoral. Tribal nations & Indigenous communities · Arizona & beyond
A voice for all — including tribal nations

GDT's platform of mandatory IHS funding as a treaty obligation, MMIP resources, resource sovereignty, water rights, and genuine government-to-government consultation applies directly to all tribal nations in Arizona and across America. The candidate carries Native South American Indian heritage personally and has always stood with Indigenous communities — including declining a Native American radio opportunity so a fully Indigenous artist could take it.

Navajo Nation · Diné Bikéyah
Largest tribal nation in the U.S. · Arizona · Federal representative matters
Water sovereignty — communities without reliable water infrastructure for generations
IHS healthcare funding as treaty obligation (not discretionary)
Energy sovereignty — uranium mining cleanup legacy
Rural broadband and healthcare access
GDT opens: "Yá'át'ééh. I come with respect. The Navajo Nation is the largest tribal nation in America. For too long, Washington has treated tribal nations as an afterthought. That ends with me."
Salt River Pima-Maricopa · Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation
Arizona · Adjacent to AZ-1 · Scottsdale / Fountain Hills area
Water compacts and irrigation rights
Economic sovereignty and gaming compact fulfillment
Healthcare access and IHS funding
Youth education and cultural preservation
GDT alignment: Constituent App gives Arizona tribal voters direct legislative voice · Producerist Capitalism protects resource sovereignty · No party machine overriding tribal community needs
Hopi Tribe · Hopituh Shi-nu-mu
Arizona · Surrounded by Navajo Nation · Sovereign people
Land dispute resolution — historic and ongoing
Cultural preservation and religious freedom
Water rights and agricultural sovereignty
GDT commitment: Hopi sovereignty is Hopi sovereignty — I will partner with Hopi leadership, not over them. Treaty obligations are not optional.
Lenape Indian Tribe of Delaware · Nanticoke Indian Association
Delaware · Original people · 2028 IACOV target state
IHS healthcare funding as treaty obligation
Treaty enforcement and sovereign rights
MMIP resources and cultural preservation
2028 note: Delaware is a core 2028 IACOV target state. The Lenape are the original people of the First State. GDT will engage with Delaware tribal leadership as Arc 2 develops.
A Note on Native American Radio
Gage Dylan Thunder was offered playlisting on Native American radio during his music career. He graciously declined, feeling the slot should go to a fully Indigenous artist. This act of cultural humility reflects the servant-leader approach he brings to public service: placing the interests of the community before personal advancement. Native language translations including Cherokee, Navajo/Diné, Hopi, Lenape, and O'odham are planned for this site.
Jewish community outreach · Shared Sabbath values · Faith unity
An Open Message to Jewish Communities

This message was composed with deep respect for Jewish communities across every state. It is not a tribal political appeal — it is a direct expression of shared values between a Sabbath-keeping Christian candidate and communities who have preserved the Shabbat covenant for millennia. No thunderbolt appears in this section per campaign branding protocols, out of respect for the visual tradition and context of the Jewish community.

An Open Message — From a Sabbath-Keeping Christian Candidate to Jewish Communities in Arizona, Delaware, Maine, and Beyond

I am a Sabbath-keeping Christian. I observe from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset, as commanded in Scripture, and I hold the seventh-day Sabbath not as a relic but as a living commandment. That gives me a particular reverence for the Shabbat tradition that your community has kept and taught the world for thousands of years.

I don't pretend our theologies are identical — they aren't. But I do believe we share something foundational: a commitment to a day of rest, a standard of justice rooted in Scripture, and a God who asks us to hold the powerful accountable.

I believe, as the Bible teaches, that the Jewish people are God's chosen people, and that the consequences for any nation or individual who goes against the house of Israel are clearly described in Scripture. This is not a policy position I am adopting to gain votes. It is a conviction I hold regardless of whether it helps or hurts me in any election.

I will not tell you what to think about Israel, about Gaza, or about any of the complex questions your community is navigating right now. I will tell you that I believe every American, of every faith, deserves a representative who answers to their conscience and not to a party's fundraising calendar. I am running with no PAC money, no party affiliation, and a Constituent App that gives you a direct voice in my legislative decisions.

"If you are feeling like neither major-party candidate is speaking to the values your community holds — I am here, I am listening, and my door is genuinely open."

Shabbat Shalom.

"Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" — Esther 4:14

Why a Sabbath-Keeping Candidate Matters
The seventh-day Sabbath (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset) is the fourth commandment — the original Jewish Shabbat. I do not campaign on Saturdays. I do not schedule events on Saturdays. My Sabbath observance is not performative — it is how I live, because I believe it is commanded. That shared calendar creates a genuine bond of respect between this campaign and Jewish communities.
Standing With Israel · Against Antisemitism
I stand with Israel's right to exist and defend itself — not as a political calculation, but as a biblical conviction. I stand against antisemitism in every form: on campuses, in media, in political discourse. Every Jewish voter deserves a representative who holds that conviction regardless of which way the political wind is blowing. That is what I offer.
The Constituent App and Jewish Conscience
No community should have to trust a representative's campaign promises about Israel, religious freedom, or conscience protection. The Constituent App gives Jewish communities — like all communities — a documented, binding voice in my legislative decisions. Your position on every relevant bill goes on record before I vote. That accountability is built into the system, not promised on a pamphlet.
Independent legislative strategy · Seven core caucus proposals
How an Independent Actually Legislates

Any member of Congress may form a caucus without party approval. These proposals are the practical blueprint for how an independent member legislates effectively — without being absorbed into either party's agenda — establishing cross-partisan working groups addressing the most pressing and overlooked issues facing voters.

1
Congressional Welfare and Safe Treatment for Women and Children Caucus
Federal legislation, funding, and enforcement consistently protecting the physical safety, economic security, and dignified treatment of women and children across all communities — including immigrant and indigenous communities. Lead with what no one opposes.
2
Congressional Indigenous Americans Caucus
IHS funding as a treaty obligation, treaty enforcement, MMIP legislation, resource sovereignty for tribal nations, and the federal trust responsibility — treated as constitutional obligations, not discretionary line items. Treaty obligations are constitutional obligations.
3
Congressional Respect and Moral Treatment of Sovereign Nations Caucus
Reviewing whether U.S. foreign policy and federal Indian law practice reflects the respect for sovereignty that the Constitution, treaty law, and international norms require — domestically and internationally. Sovereignty earned must be sovereignty honored.
4
Congressional Financial Integrity and Transparency for Elected Office Caucus
Mandatory standardized financial disclosure, stock trading bans for sitting members and families, deterrence of the revolving door between congressional staff and lobbying firms. You cannot hold the powerful accountable if you are hiding something yourself.
5
Congressional Disclosure and Deterrence of Constitutional Conflicts of Interest Caucus
Disclosure requirements, recusal protocols, and enforcement mechanisms for documented conflicts of interest where existing law permits what the Founders clearly intended to prohibit. The Constitution cannot be upheld by those profiting from its violation.
6
Congressional Ethical Immigration Enforcement Caucus
Immigration enforcement simultaneously effective, constitutional, and humane. Border security and human dignity are not opposites — a nation capable of landing people on the moon can enforce its borders without degrading the people it encounters.
7
Congressional Psychological Fitness for Elected Office Caucus
A voluntary standardized fitness framework — Executive Leadership Assessment and neuropsychological evaluation with publicly disclosed results. We screen pilots and police officers. We should screen the people who control nuclear weapons. Gage Dylan Thunder commits to being the first candidate to voluntarily submit and publish results.

It is to protect every person's right to reach their own conclusion before God."
"Governor Cuomo argued decades ago that a public official can hold a faith conviction personally without imposing it as law on people who do not share his faith. I agree with that core principle. Where I differ is that I extend it consistently — to war, to the death penalty, and to every place where government asks a citizen to fund, through their taxes, an outcome their own conscience cannot accept. That consistency is what conscience protection actually requires."
"My opponents in this race have spent their careers inside government, inside party structures, or inside the same revolving door of Washington fundraising. I have spent 30 years turning down record deals, management contracts, and now party affiliations that would have compromised my independence. I am not entering public life because I need a job. I am entering it because I believe Arizona, and this country, deserve representatives who actually answer to the people who elected them — not to the party that financed them."
— Gage Dylan Thunder ⚡ · Arizona CD-1 · Official Campaign Statement
The Adam & Eve Argument
God did not force Adam and Eve to remain in the garden. God did not strip Satan of the freedom to rebel. The Creator of the universe — the Author of every life — permitted His own creation the freedom to choose, and to bear the consequences of that choice. If God Himself extends that freedom, no government official has the standing to remove it from another human being.
The Cuomo Extension
Mario Cuomo argued a public official can hold a personal faith conviction without imposing it as law on others. GDT extends this consistently — to war, to capital punishment, to reproductive policy, and to every point where government asks citizens to fund outcomes their conscience refuses. The principle must apply equally or it is not a principle.
The Tax Conscience Pledge
No American should be forced to bankroll a war they believe is unjust, a capital punishment they find immoral, a procedure their conscience refuses, or any government action that violates sincere personal conviction. The Constituent App makes this operational: your conscience is on the record before I vote on any bill.
Where This Places GDT Outside the Traditional Binary
Gage Dylan Thunder is a Seventh-day Sabbath-keeping Evangelical Christian who holds a deep personal conviction about the sacred nature of life — and who simultaneously holds that no government, including one he might serve in, has the standing to enforce that conviction on the conscience of any other human being. He is not pro-life in the political sense. He is not pro-choice in the political sense. He is pro-conscience — across reproductive policy, across war, across capital punishment, across every domain where government asks citizens to fund or submit to outcomes their conscience refuses.
The Constituent App gives every voter a direct voice on reproductive bills, war funding, capital punishment, and every other conscience-sensitive vote — before the vote is cast.
Campaign journey · Previously explored options · For the record
The Road to Arizona — A Transparent Account

This campaign began in May 2026. In the course of research and planning, multiple states and races were evaluated as potential candidacies — including Maine U.S. Senate and Delaware U.S. House and U.S. Senate. Because these options have been reported on, discussed online, and appear in social media and AI search results connected to this candidacy, the following transparent account is provided. Every decision reflects the principles this campaign was built on: honesty, constitutional grounding, and a singular focus on genuine voter service.

🌲 Maine — U.S. Senate · Withdrawn
Status: Explored · Withdrawn · Constitutional issue with state administration
Maine was explored as a potential U.S. Senate candidacy due to its Ranked Choice Voting system — the most favorable environment for independent candidacy nationally — and its well-documented history of electing independent governors (James B. Longley, 1974; Angus King, 1994 and Senate). The race involved incumbent Susan Collins and Democratic nominee Troy Jackson, whose nomination process generated constitutional questions (Maine Title 21-A §331) and documented character concerns raised by named former colleagues in CNN, The Washington Post, and The New York Times. Maine was ultimately withdrawn because the Maine Secretary of State's administrative process for write-in candidacy requires a voting residence address, registration as a Maine voter, and a Maine registrar/municipal clerk certification — imposing residency requirements before Election Day that conflict with the constitutional standard established in Powell v. McCormack (1969) and U.S. Term Limits v. Thornton (1995), under which inhabitancy is required only "when elected." Maine's state administration was not willing to acknowledge the constitutional "when elected" standard the way Delaware ultimately did. To avoid legal distraction and maintain campaign focus, Maine was withdrawn.
"Maine deserves a representative who actually answers to you — whether that ends up being me or someone else. Whatever happens, I hope you get that representative."
Note for 2028: Maine's Ranked Choice Voting system makes it one of the most favorable states for independent candidacy nationally. Maine is a primary target for the 2028 IACOV Coalition and potentially the 7 Thunders Party. The RCV mechanics mean ranked candidates are never "wasted votes" — creating the cleanest path for genuine independent representation of any state in the country.
🔵 Delaware — U.S. House At-Large & U.S. Senate · Evaluated · Voluntarily Withdrawn for 2026
Status: Explored extensively · Delaware DOE confirmed constitutional standard · Voluntarily withdrawn for 2026 singular focus · Priority target for 2028
Delaware was explored in depth — including U.S. House At-Large (against incumbent Sarah McBride) and U.S. Senate (against 3-term incumbent Chris Coons, Republican Dr. Mike Katz who followed a Democrat → IPoD Independent → Republican trajectory, and independent write-in Travis Jack Stevens). After repeated phone calls and constitutional discussions with Delaware Department of Elections staff — including Roxanne, Patrick, and Commissioner Alan — the DOE confirmed the constitutional "when elected" inhabitancy standard under Article I and the case law established in Powell v. McCormack and U.S. Term Limits v. Thornton. Delaware would have accepted a write-in filing. The decision to withdraw Delaware for 2026 was strategic, not legal. With the entire campaign beginning in May 2026 — a very compressed timeline — and with the challenging reality that voter conditioning, party machine indoctrination, and the complexity of explaining a multi-state independent candidacy to voters who have limited exposure to independent politics presented real risks of confusion, a singular focus on Arizona CD-1 was determined to be more effective for this cycle.
"Delaware is the First State. It will be a focus again — and next time, with more preparation, the 7 Thunders Party organized, the IACOV Coalition established, and the 2026 Arizona campaign as documented proof of concept."
2028 Delaware plan: The 7 Thunders Party will be formally established in Delaware before 2028. IACOV Coalition formation (targeting ~880 signatures) begins 2027. Delaware U.S. House (McBride rematch, likely under 7 Thunders ballot line rather than write-in) is a core Arc 2 race. Additional write-in candidacies in other states are also possible in Arc 2 and Arc 3. Delaware U.S. Senate is an additional possible race depending on field conditions. The 2026 Arizona campaign record — vote totals, earned media, constituent app development — is the proof-of-concept that establishes credibility for the 2028 Delaware run.
📋 Other States Evaluated · For Future Reference
📋 States with Candidate Ties · For Future Reference

The following states are noted for future reference — they are places where Gage Dylan Thunder has family, tribal affiliations, roots, prior school, work, living, and/or community ties: Colorado, Florida, Washington, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York — and at least 19 additional states beyond the currently active candidacy states. Candidate Thunder currently has ties, family, community, life experience, and connections in at least 25 of the 50 states. He would never seek to be a "carpetbagger." He believes a candidate for public office should genuinely know and understand the community from the bottom up — especially the most underserved. A presidential run, should it occur, would include spending real time learning communities where he does not yet have roots.

Status: Research completed · Deadline tracking maintained · 2028 targets identified
Multiple other states were evaluated during the 2026 research phase and beyond. The constitutional framework (Powell v. McCormack, U.S. Term Limits v. Thornton, 11 CFR §110.8(d)) was verified across all states. Each state below has documented personal connections:

Alaska — Ranked Choice Voting, Oct 29 write-in deadline. Indigenous community alignment. Senate and House options. Strong 2028 target.

New Mexico — Martin Heinrich (D) Senate up 2028. Prior connections: family ties, tribal community affiliations with Pueblo and Navajo communities extending into NM. 2028 IACOV target.

Nevada — Competitive swing state. Prior connections: entertainment industry work and Las Vegas community connections. 2028 target.

Kansas — The ORIGINAL campaign origin state (May 2026, KS-02, Version 1 of master strategy). Where this entire movement was first conceived. Educational and work history connections.

Georgia — Ossoff (D) seat. Prior connections: family ties and educational history in the region. Strong African-American community platform alignment. 2028 target.

South Carolina — SC HD-49 was an early target race. Prior connections: family connections and prior residence. SC-01 U.S. House also evaluated.

North Carolina — Guilford County (Greensboro area). Both House and Senate options. Write-in deadline passed Aug 5. Prior connections: family ties, prior residence, educational and work history. Strong community connection.

Maryland — Write-in names legally posted at every polling place by statute. Prior connections: family connections and prior work history in the MD-DC corridor. Senate and House options. Strong 2028 target.

New Jersey — Competitive House districts NJ-7, NJ-8. Prior connections: prior work and residence history. 2028 target.

Virginia — No write-in filing requirement at all — most permissive system in the country. Prior connections: work history, educational connections, family ties in Northern Virginia and Virginia Beach areas. 2028 target.

Oregon — 100% vote-by-mail. Ron Wyden Senate seat up 2028. Strong independent voter tradition. PRIMARY 2028 Senate target in quad-race plan. Phone established: (541) 417-9126.

Constitutional & legal foundation
The constitutional right to independent candidacy
Article I · U.S. Constitution
Inhabitancy "When Elected" Only
"No Person shall be a Representative who shall not... when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State." THREE qualifications only: age, citizenship years, and inhabitancy WHEN ELECTED — meaning Election Day, November 3, 2026. No state may add to these requirements.
Powell v. McCormack, 1969 · Term Limits v. Thornton, 1995
States Cannot Add Qualifications
The Supreme Court confirmed twice that Article I qualifications are exclusive and cannot be added to by Congress or any state. Any residency, registration, or background check requirement imposed on a congressional candidate before Election Day is unconstitutional. This campaign operates on that constitutional foundation.
11 CFR § 110.8(d) · FEC Regulations
Multi-State Federal Candidacy Permitted
FEC regulations explicitly contemplate and permit a candidate running for more than one federal office, requiring separate campaign committees for each race. This regulatory framework exists because the scenario, while rare, is legally recognized under federal law. All AZ-1 filing requirements have been met.

A Platform Rooted in Conscience, Not Coercion · Faith · Free Will · Constitutional Principle
"I Am Both Pro-Life and Pro-Choice" — Here Is Why

Thunder's approach to the most contested issues in American politics — including reproductive policy — flows directly from his belief in the God-given free will of every individual, and from the constitutional principle of the separation of church and state. As a former Catholic in childhood who is now a Seventh-day Sabbath-keeping Evangelical Baptist Christian, his conscience framework is not a political calculation. It is a theological conviction applied consistently across every issue where government asks a citizen to fund or accept an outcome their conscience refuses.

On Party Independence
"I do not adopt any party's platform as my own. I will not caucus with any party in Congress. And I will not accept a single dollar from any party committee or political action committee."
— Gage Dylan Thunder ⚡ · Arizona CD-1 · Write-In Independent · 2026
On Reproductive Policy · The Free Will Framework
"I believe, as a matter of personal faith, that life is sacred. I will never hide that conviction. But I also believe, just as deeply, that God did not force Adam and Eve to remain in the garden, and did not strip Satan of the freedom to rebel. If the Creator of the universe permits His own creation the freedom to choose — and to bear the consequences of that choice, spiritual and earthly alike — I do not believe any government official, including myself, has the standing to remove that freedom from another human being."
— Gage Dylan Thunder ⚡
On Being Both Pro-Life AND Pro-Choice
"I am both pro-life and pro-choice, depending on the individual, the circumstance, and the conscience involved — because those circumstances are not mine to judge, and they are not the government's to dictate. My role, if elected, is not to legislate my personal theology onto a state of Arizonans who hold a thousand different convictions. It is to protect every person's right to reach their own conclusion before God, and to ensure no taxpayer is compelled to fund outcomes that violate their own conscience — whether that conscience leads them to support reproductive choice, to oppose it, or to object to how their tax dollars are spent on war, capital punishment, or any other matter where reasonable, faithful people sincerely disagree."
— Gage Dylan Thunder ⚡
On Mario Cuomo · Extending the Principle Fully
"Governor Cuomo argued decades ago that a public official can hold a faith conviction personally without imposing it as law on people who do not share his faith. I agree with that core principle. Where I differ is that I extend it consistently — to war, to the death penalty, and to every place where government asks a citizen to fund, through their taxes, an outcome their own conscience cannot accept. No American should be forced to bankroll a war they believe is unjust, a policy they believe is wrong, or a procedure they believe is immoral. That consistency is what conscience protection actually requires."
— Gage Dylan Thunder ⚡ · citing Gov. Mario Cuomo's 1984 Notre Dame address as a partial influence
On 30 Years of Independence · What Sets This Candidacy Apart
"My opponents in this race have spent their careers inside government, inside party structures, or inside the same revolving door of Washington fundraising. I have spent 30 years turning down record deals, management contracts, and now party affiliations that would have compromised my independence. I am not entering public life because I need a job. I am entering it because I believe Arizona, and this country, deserve representatives who actually answer to the people who elected them — not to the party that financed them."
— Gage Dylan Thunder ⚡
Former Catholic · Now Seventh-Day Christian
From childhood in the Catholic faith to adult conversion and Seventh-day Sabbath-keeping Evangelical Baptist Christianity, Thunder's faith journey has deepened — not narrowed — his understanding of conscience, free will, and the proper limits of government authority over individual conviction.
The Adam and Eve Argument
God placed a tree in the garden whose fruit He commanded Adam and Eve not to eat — and then gave them the freedom to make that choice. The prohibition was real. The freedom was also real. If the Creator of the universe extends that freedom to His own creation, no human government has greater standing to remove it. This is the theological foundation of Thunder's conscience platform.
The Constituent App Solves This
Rather than imposing a single conscience framework on all of Arizona, the Constituent App lets the district's voters collectively direct every vote on these contested issues before the ballot is cast. You are not trusting Thunder's personal theology on any of these questions. You are directing the outcome directly. That is the structural resolution to the conscience dilemma.
A Note on the Consistent Life Ethic
Thunder's conscience protection platform applies with full consistency across the political spectrum. The same principle that protects a voter who objects to funding abortion also protects a voter who objects to funding a war they believe is unjust, or capital punishment they believe is immoral, or a weapons program they believe endangers civilians. This is not a platform designed to serve one political coalition. It is a platform designed to protect every conscience — on the left, the right, and everywhere in between. That universality is precisely what neither major party offers, and precisely why an independent voice is needed in Arizona's 1st Congressional District.

Economic vision · Producerist Capitalism · In GDT's own words
The Economic Truth No One Wants to Say
"

The political class has distorted capitalism into corporate welfare, leaning on a debt-driven, speculative, derivative-based economy that sells out domestic assets to foreign corporations. The current banking and mutual fund system operates on derivative gambling — when elites win their gambles, they pocket massive bonuses; when they lose, they demand taxpayer bailouts. In this digital era, banks create trillions out of thin air on computer ledgers, diluting currency and stealing from the savings of regular working families while shifting all systemic debt onto the average citizen.

I am stepping forward to offer a template for a syncretic, reformed republic based on Producerist Capitalism. This platform stops foreign ownership of vital infrastructure, uplifts working-class families, ensures resource sovereignty for independent creators and indigenous Native American nations, and fiercely protects individual free will. It safeguards children from harm, defends women's right to equality, and dismantles systemic racial barriers.

Crucially, true reform builds equity directly into the system, enabling those in the greatest need to rise out of poverty. It does so fairly, easing the fear of established citizens who worry about losing what they have worked hard to earn. In reality, our economy has room enough for everyone to prosper — with no one left behind.

"Get it straight. Don't be fooled."

Republicans and Democrats haven't fully changed anything for every citizen in over 100 years.

There is a way for all to benefit — universal prosperity where no one is left out or left behind. The Constitution and our most revered Founding Fathers did not encourage parties or factions at all. Character is the most important component for any person vying to represent their fellow human beings in public office.

The political class has distorted capitalism into corporate welfare — leaning on a debt-driven, speculative, derivative-based economy that sells out domestic assets to foreign corporations. ⚖️ Follow the Money & the Facts: Arizona has over 515,000 registered voters including 172,000+ no-party/independent voters. That is more than enough to elect genuine independent representation — if voters are truly willing to wake up and end the two-party charade. The Thunder campaign verifies everything. Educate yourself, research, and vote your conscience.

Candidate Thunder's constitutionally-based, unbought campaign continues because desperate times call for unique, innovative, bold, and brave solutions. The Constituent App gives voters a direct voice in how they are represented — every day that Candidate Thunder is elected.

Platform coherence · Servant leadership · Authentic purpose
No Contradictions — A Consistent Platform

If this platform and candidacy are evaluated in full context, there are no contradictions in outlook or worldview.

Gage Dylan Thunder may appear, at first glance, to be a reluctant non-politician. That assessment is accurate — and intentional. He has no desire to become a political celebrity or to attain notoriety through elected office if it can be avoided. His genuinely authentic desire is to continue losing himself in service to others through elected public service, if the people choose him for that purpose. Faith, conscience, and a lifetime of lived experience across nearly every level of American society are the foundation of every position in this platform — not ideology, not donor strategy, not party loyalty.

He is aware that there are many good people in every community who may have genuinely good intentions but who make poor choices or bad compromises — often due to the pressures of a system designed to absorb and neutralize reform. Gage Dylan Thunder has deliberately chosen to remain outside that system, precisely because he has seen what it does to those who enter it without a firmly grounded conscience and a platform that answers to no one but the voters and God.

What may appear as tension in this platform — faith alongside conscience-protection; independence alongside deep community roots; spiritual conviction alongside political pragmatism — is not contradiction. It is the full spectrum of a life lived across many roles, communities, and experiences. That breadth is precisely the qualification most career politicians lack.

"I have no desire to be a political celebrity. I have every desire to be a faithful public servant. If elected, I will serve. If not elected, I will continue serving in other ways. The outcome of this campaign does not define my purpose — my purpose defined this campaign."

— Gage Dylan Thunder ⚡

Media Offers Turned Down

Associated Press — Ashlyn Still & Tallulah Van Zee Brown

GDT was contacted by AP journalists Ashlyn Still and Tallulah Van Zee Brown and offered a photo licensing contract that would have provided significant national election coverage and exposure. After reviewing the initial terms with counsel, Candidate Thunder declined the first offer. The proposed agreement included perpetual, unrestricted commercial use and transferability to third parties — terms that would compromise his fully independent brand. However, AP subsequently sent a revised license agreement, which is currently under review. An agreement may still be reached for this election cycle or the future, should the terms meet GDT's basic independent editorial standards.

Limited editorial access was granted to Phoenix Fox 10 News Executive Producer George Obi, who accepted GDT's basic independent terms.

Party Ballot Lines Declined

In this election cycle, Gage Dylan Thunder received and declined affiliation offers from the following organizations, among others who have requested anonymity:

  • Independent Party of Delaware — ballot line offered, declined
  • American Solidarity Party — ballot line offered, declined
  • Additional political organizations — offers not responded to or formally declined

Thunder is open to invitations, Zoom interviews, and YouTube Q&A sessions for the 2026 or 2028 cycle — but bows to no party or organization. He answers only to the voters who elect him.

Grammy / NARAS — Documented Confirmation

Bill Freimuth served as Vice President of Awards at the Recording Academy (NARAS), managing eligibility rules and category updates for the annual Grammy Awards. He was GDT's primary contact at NARAS offices and confirmed — on multiple documented phone calls in 2007–2008 — the historic 32 first-round ballot entries across 13 categories on four artist-branded albums. All records, dates, names, and documentation are on file with the campaign.

Additional film and TV industry documentation is also on file, including award-winning writer-director-producer Josh Webber (Producers Guild) and major film company contacts from GDT's industry years.

On Independent Brand Integrity: Any sites not authorized by GDT's campaign team that display his name, image, music, or platform are not endorsed. Only GDT's specific brand name websites present accurate information. Mr. Thunder is not currently accepting unsolicited endorsements. The individual votes cast for him are the only endorsement needed — and any district he is elected to represent benefits from his platform and advocacy regardless of whether individual voters supported him.

The Biblical Foundation — Verses That Guide This Campaign
1 Timothy 1:3–11 · Against Corruption & Immorality

"As I urged you when I went into Macedonia — remain in Ephesus that you may charge some that they teach no other doctrine, nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith. Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm... the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust."

1 Timothy 1:3–11 NKJV

1 Timothy 1:12–17 · Redemption · Mercy & Grace

"And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen."

1 Timothy 1:12–17 NKJV

1 Timothy 1:18–20 · Faith · Strength · Boldness

"This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck, of whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I delivered to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme."

But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, 'Why do you test Me, you hypocrites? Show Me the tax money.' So they brought Him a denarius. And He said to them, 'Whose image and inscription is this?' They said to Him, 'Caesar's.' And He said to them, 'Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.' When they had heard these words, they marveled, and left Him and went their way."

Matthew 22:15–22 NKJV

2 Corinthians 5:12–21 · New Creation · Defense Against Accusers

"For we do not commend ourselves again to you, but give you opportunity to boast on our behalf, that you may have an answer for those who boast in appearance and not in heart... Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new... Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."

2 Corinthians 5:12–21 NKJV

Revelation 21:1–8 · Finality · Free Will · Eternal Consequence

"Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away... And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away... He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

Revelation 21:1–8 NKJV

Romans 15:1–6 · Bearing With One Another · The Gen Z Generation

"We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, 'The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me.' For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Mark 8:34–38 · Why I Refuse to Be Bought & Sold

"When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, 'Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's will save it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.'"

1 Timothy 6:10 · The Root of All Evil

"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

1 Timothy 6:10 NKJV

Matthew 7:13–29 · The Narrow Gate · Bearing Good Fruit · Rock vs. Sand

"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits... Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven... Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock... and great was its fall."

Matthew 7:13–29 NKJV (selected verses)

John 14:12–18 · Greater Works · The Spirit of Truth

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever — the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you."

John 14:12–18 NKJV

2 Thessalonians 2 · Warning Against Deception — Especially Verses 9–12

"The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness." (Verses 9–12) · "But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work."

Romans 3:9–27 · All Have Sinned · Justification by Faith — Especially Verses 21–26

"What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin. As it is written: 'There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one...' For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (verses 9–23) · "But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus." (Verses 21–26)

Romans 3:9–27 NKJV · Conviction of why, and the resulting salvation

Isaiah 53 · The Suffering Servant · Why This Campaign Exists

"Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all... He was taken from prison and from judgment, and who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgressions of My people He was stricken... Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, for He shall bear their iniquities... because He poured out His soul unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors."

Authorship: Unlike most candidates, Gage Dylan Thunder writes his own speeches, develops his own slogans, and authors his own marketing copy. Mr. Thunder designs, operates, and oversees the campaign — answers to no one except God and the authorities God has allowed to be in place. Minor, occasional commentary from the GDT Gen Z Campaign Team may appear on social media. These young staff members are welcomed because their passion for the democratic process is genuine, even when their life experience and judgment are still developing. Their participation is guided by Romans 15:1–6 — the stronger bear with the weaker for the sake of edification, not condemnation. Any social media commentary that violates state or federal law should be reported immediately to GageDylanThunder@gmail.com with a screenshot. False claims or harassment of young staff will not be tolerated and may be forwarded to appropriate authorities.

The Constituent App: The Thunder Constituent App allows the voter to be fully represented in legislation wherever legally permissible. Despite thousands of emails and social media posts sent to regional, national, and international media, all Federal Senators, and all U.S. House Representatives over more than six months, no major outlet has reported on this unique app. This ought to tell us something about the current system and those who benefit from keeping voters disconnected from their own representation. This useful app could be licensed to any government entity for official use — benefiting the people of this great nation regardless of party.

Communications Policy: For this election cycle, Mr. Thunder does not communicate directly with anyone outside the campaign team about his candidacy or platform. He may be willing to conduct official ThunderGDT Zoom-specific interviews or a GDT Q&A YouTube session for this cycle or 2028. He does not currently accept unsolicited endorsements. The votes cast for him by individual citizens are the only endorsement needed.

Platform Positions: Mr. Thunder does not endorse any individual, party, or organization without sufficient verified research. He operates above partisan debate — he is against the entire failed duopoly and whoever joins and perpetuates it. The government should be obeyed in all things that do not violate God's law or a person's God-given conscience and free will. As Scripture instructs: render to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's.

Constitutional Integrity: Candidate Thunder is firmly opposed to any unconstitutional third presidential term, and to any political ticket or arrangement that violates the integrity of the Constitution and its amendments. He supports returning to the original Constitutional tradition wherein the vice president is the runner-up in the presidential election — a runner's-up framework that more fully represents the actual voting choices of the American people rather than a co-selected running mate.

Voter Empowerment — Take a Photo of Your Ballot: Candidate Thunder encourages all voters who write in his name to take a picture of their ballot after casting it as documented proof to take a picture of their ballot after casting it as documented proof, in the event of any potential manipulation by the established system. Hundreds of thousands of voters in various districts — and millions nationally — have the collective power to change the outcome if they act together in 2026. If we wait until 2028, it becomes harder. The time is now.

Future Caucus Proposals: If elected, GDT may implement up to 4 additional caucuses beyond the current 11 proposals — for a total of up to 15 — creating additional structural mechanisms for social change. He is the only candidate in this race who has made this level of specific legislative commitment.

Candidate Position: Constitutional Integrity & Career Political Ties

Gage Dylan Thunder is on record opposing any presidential ticket or candidacy in which the vice presidential selection is driven by career, professional, or industry ties rather than genuine voter service and constitutional fitness. This includes opposition to the documented VanceKirk2028 presidential ticket framework — verifiable at vancekirk2028.com · vancekirk.store · vancekirk28.com · vancekirk2028.net — on the grounds that such arrangements bypass the democratic process in favor of insider political calculation.

Candidate Thunder also maintains his stated position that any attempt to circumvent or reinterpret the constitutional two-term limit for the presidency violates the integrity of that document and its amendments — regardless of the party or individual seeking to do so.

His proposed alternative: return to the founding-era principle wherein the vice president is the runner-up in the presidential election — a system that more authentically reflects the actual will of the American electorate rather than placing an appointed running mate in the line of succession.
